The Intelligent Systems and Data Science Laboratory (LaSID) was founded in 2011 within the Department of Computer Science (DComp-So) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil. LaSID is a dynamic center of innovation and excellence in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science, led by a team of highly qualified researchers affiliated with the Postgraduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC) at UFSCar. Additionally, the laboratory offers numerous research opportunities, including master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral positions, as well as undergraduate research projects, promoting a multidisciplinary environment for academic and professional growth. In this way, LaSID continues to shape the future of intelligent systems and data-driven solutions, preparing the next generation of researchers and professionals to face the most imminent challenges.
