Our campus
Located near kilometer 100 of the João Leme dos Santos Highway (SP-264), the UFSCar Sorocaba Campus covers 70 hectares, with 48,000 m² of built area. It houses three academic centers: the Center for Science and Technology for Sustainability (CCTS), the Center for Human and Biological Sciences (CCHB), and the Center for Management and Technology Sciences (CCGT). The campus offers modern infrastructure, including classrooms, research laboratories, auditoriums, a library, and an university restaurant.
Since its establishment in 2005, the campus has significantly expanded its academic offerings, now providing 14 undergraduate programs and up to 12 postgraduate programs, along with over 1,000 extension activities. UFSCar Sorocaba maintains strong partnerships with local industries, having signed more than 400 agreements with public and private organizations.
Inside our lab
Our research laboratory offers a welcoming, well-equipped space designed to promote collaboration and productivity. Here you will find:
- A spacious work environment, with space for individual and team research activities;
- A private meeting room, ideal for discussions and focused sessions;
- High-performance GPU servers with remote access, equipped with robust specifications to support intensive computational tasks, ensuring fast processing for complex machine learning models;
- A large whiteboard for brainstorming sessions, strategy planning and visual demonstrations; and
- A cozy coffee area to recharge and encourage informal interactions between team members.
